Doug Spearman

Doug Spearman serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the New Orleans Film Society and has been the President, Executive Producer, Writer, and Director at Esplanade Pictures since July 2013, where the focus is on developing the motion picture "Welcome, Sinners." Additionally, Spearman has contributed as a Board Member for Outfest since January 2016, advocating for the legacy of LGBTQ artists and filmmakers. As President and CEO of The Ogden Group Entertainment, established in September 2006, Spearman leads a multi-platform content provider catering to under-served audiences. Previous roles include President and film director at H.G.W.G., LLC, Writer/Producer for E! & Style at NBC Universal International, and Board Member positions at The Relational Center and Equality California. Spearman's entertainment career began as an actor with the Screen Actors Guild from 1992 to 2011. Educational credentials include a BA from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master Class in Theater and Television Acting and Directing from Richard Lawson Studios.
