Vincent Levien is currently an advisor at Outland, but they have a long and impressive history working in various political positions. Vincent started their career in January 2004 as a special assistant with the New York City Council. In this role, they managed all special events, including the official 9/11 street renaming. Vincent also liaised with NYPD 68th and 62nd Precincts, Brooklyn South Police Chief and captains on quality of life issues; formed CORP citizen patrol program. Additionally, they liaised with the Department of Homeland Security INS office on immigration issues. Vincent directed legislative and policy issues, introduced resolutions and legislation, and represented Councilman at public hearings and community events.
In January 2004, they also started working as the Director of Operations and Surrogate Advance for John Kerry's Presidential campaign in Florida. In this role, they managed logistics for Senators Kerry and Edwards in Florida, including all communications for three campaign offices in Palm Beach, Broward and Dade Counties. Vincent also supervised over 25 advance staff members throughout the state, lead advance for Pres. Clinton and Sens. Clinton, Biden, Graham, Lieberman and Nelson, and handled all advance work for the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Terry McAuliffe, and celebrities like the Black Eyed Peas, Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Buffet and Michael J. Fox.
