Outlier Skate is a specialist skatepark and precinct advisory team helping councils and project partners create safer, better-used public spaces - backed by evidence, not guesswork.

We work across the full precinct journey: auditing existing facilities, capturing real community needs, and translating insight into decision-ready strategy and staged upgrade plans that hold up to scrutiny. Our approach is built for the reality of skate precincts: they’re shared spaces used by riders, families, walkers and sport users - and each group experiences the precinct differently.

What we do:
• Skatepark audits aligned to AS EN 14974:2021, with clear risk call-outs, condition/lifespan ratings and actionable “Now / Next / Later” steps.
• Community Engagement - our proprietary engagement tool capturing how people Ride / Use / Play a precinct, including route-tracing to map real flow and conflict points.
• Network strategy & action plans for upgrades, renewals and future provision (including prioritisation, staging and business case support).
• Activation support to help renewed precincts land well and stay used.
