Paul Sample

Paul Sample is a Senior Scientist at Outpace Bio since August 2021, bringing extensive experience in bioinformatics and scientific programming. Prior to this role, Paul served as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Guardant Health and as a Bioinformatician II. Paul also held the position of Senior Scientific Programmer at Bellwether Bio. Paul’s career began with a postdoctoral research role at the University of Washington from July 2014 to April 2018. Paul holds a PhD in Microbial and Eukaryotic Genetics from The Ohio State University, where education was completed from 2009 to 2014, and also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, General from The Ohio State University from 2004 to 2009.
