Marilee Jooste

Marilee Jooste has a diverse work experience in the entertainment industry. Marilee recently worked as an Operations Manager at Outpost, a sustainable space company focusing on precision Earth Return of satellites and orbital payloads. Prior to that, they served as the Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant to the CEO at Rideback, where they managed calendars, maintained databases, and arranged transport and accommodation. Previous roles include being an Executive Assistant at Fox 2000 - 20th Century Fox, where they handled administrative duties and travel arrangements, as well as a Development Intern at NBCUniversal International TV Studios, where they provided coverage and notes on script submissions and analyzed projects. Marilee also gained experience as a Research and Development Intern at STX Entertainment (Tower 2 Productions), where they conducted research and created databases for non-scripted programming. Additionally, they interned at Endgame Entertainment, where they read script submissions, wrote coverage and development notes, and learned about film financing and story development.

Marilee Jooste obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Creative Producing from Chapman University. This educational journey lasted from 2013 to 2017.
