Ryan McLain

Ryan McLain has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and cybersecurity. Ryan'smost recent position was as a Managed Services Security Engineer at Outpost24 since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Illinois State University as an IT Support Analyst and Team Lead from May 2021 to November 2022. Before that, Ryan worked as a Security Analyst at Caterpillar through TEKsystems from January 2019 to January 2021. Ryan also worked at Illinois State University in various roles, including Senior IT Support Technician, Computer Service Technician, and Residential Computer Consultant from August 2014 to December 2018. Ryan had a brief internship experience as a Cyber Defense Intern at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas in the summer of 2018. In addition, they had previous experience as a Sales Associate at HomeGoods Stores from October 2012 to August 2015.

Ryan McLain attended Illinois State University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity. In November 2021, they also obtained a certification in CompTIA A+ from CompTIA.
