David Clark

David Clark has had a varied and successful career in software engineering. From 2013 to 2019, they have worked for five different companies. At 8th Day Software, they held the roles of Software Engineer II and Software Engineer. At Logical Systems, they were a Software Engineer. At Green Chef, they were a SRE - Software Engineer and Software Engineer. At Outrider, they were a Senior Engineer, ML Data Infrastructure, Software Engineer, ML Infrastructure, and Software Engineer, Back-End Web Services + IoT. Additionally, in 2013 they were an UNL REU Participant for NSF Undergraduate Researcher. During their time at Outrider, they advocated for faster PR turn-around time, resulting in PRs being reviewed in less than 24 hours and work closed out 2x-3x faster. David also built seed data factories for testing with local containerized DB, resulting in coverage improved from ~10% to 95% and every PR having tests.

David Clark has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Union University, which they obtained in 2014. In 2017, they completed a Self-Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity. Additionally, they have obtained four certifications from Udemy in Golang (2019), Node.js (2017), Advanced React and Redux (2017), and Modern React with Redux (2017).
