John Stein

John Stein has over 20 years of work experience in the IT field. John started their career in 1997 as a Senior Network Administrator at Monster.com, where they provided top tier support for West Coast sites in the US and Canada. In 2005, they moved to Haggin Marketing, Inc. as Manager of IT Infrastructure, where they were responsible for building and developing scalable technologies and processes. In 2007, they became IT Manager at Northstar, where they managed all aspects of Information Technology for a fast-paced software startup. In 2008, they were promoted to IT Director at SolutionSet, where they directed IT for the 4th largest independent marketing and digital services firm in North America. In 2011, they became Director of Information Technology at Teachscape. In 2016, they moved to CastleBranch as Infrastructure Manager. In 2018, they joined Sunrun as Manager of IT and Software Development, where they were responsible for uptime, reliability, automation, and compliance for internal applications. Finally, in 2019, they became Director of IT Operations at Outrider.

John Stein's education history includes attending NAHS from 1992 to 1996, Purdue University from 1996 to 1997 for Computer Technology, and Indiana University Southeast from 1998 to 1999 for Music - Guitar. John also holds certifications from EXIN for ITIL v3 obtained in September 2008 and from CompTIA for A+ obtained in July 1998.
