Sam Mitchell has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering field since 2009. Sam began their career as an Engineering Aid for the United States Department of Defense in 2009. In 2012, they became a Student System Administrator for USU Division of Research Computing. The following year, they were an Electrical Engineering Intern at Northrop Grumman Corporation. In 2014, they worked as an Engineer Assistant for Space Dynamics Laboratory and also held three roles at Utah State University: Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Undergraduate Teaching Fellow. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Run to Run Engineer at IM Flash and an Automation Supervisor - Research & Development and Robotics Engineer at Toyota Material Handling. Most recently, they have been an Embedded Software Engineer at Outrider since 2022.
Sam Mitchell graduated from Utah State University in 2016 with a Master of Science in Computer Engineering. Sam had previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university between 2009 and 2015.
