Tom Bamford

Tom Bamford is a Co-founder and Founding Engineer at Outsampler, an AI-focused startup dedicated to developing intelligent agents for data analysis. They lead the technical strategy and product development, influencing all major business decisions. Prior to Outsampler, Tom served as a Research Associate in the AI Research Lab at J.P. Morgan, specializing in multi-modal retrieval and time series imputation. They hold a Doctorate in Aerospace Engineering and Applied AI from the University of Southampton, where their research involved generative deep learning, and a First Class Honours Master’s degree in Natural Sciences (Astrophysics) from the University of Cambridge.
