John C. Barthelmes is an experienced educator and artistic director with a diverse background in computer science and the performing arts. Currently serving as an Online Instructor for AP Computer Science at YaizY since August 2023, John also teaches courses for Elementary to High School students on Outschool since January 2019. As the Owner and Artistic Director of Spotlight Studios for the Performing Arts since February 2008, John promotes performing arts education. Additionally, John has been an Adjunct Instructor at St. John Fisher College since August 1998, teaching Computer Science and Acting courses. Previous roles include Technical Support Lead at Odyssey Software and Software Engineer at Tobin & Associates, alongside editorial and web support experience at BalloonHQ.com. John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the State University of New York at Fredonia, earned between 1993 and 1996.
