Outset Advisory provides embedded finance leadership and investor-ready finance operations to venture-backed African startups and early-stage funds.

We help you scale without chaos by installing a disciplined finance operating system — clean numbers, clear runway, and board-quality reporting you can stand behind.

We bring clarity to your financial operations and build the systems that create real leverage. From monthly close and reconciliations to multi-entity consolidation and KPI reporting, you get reliable visibility into performance, cash, and margins — so decisions are made fast, based on facts.

Beyond the reporting, we’re your strategic finance partner. We help founders move from reactive finance firefighting to calm, confident leadership — with a monthly cadence that keeps you investor-ready and reduces surprises before they become expensive.

The result: You lead with data-driven confidence while finance runs smoothly in the background.

With deep experience across venture portfolios, multi-entity structures, and cross-border compliance (South Africa, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Kenya, and US-linked entities), we’ve helped teams shorten reporting cycles, improve runway visibility, and walk into board meetings and diligence with numbers they trust.

If you need an embedded partner to turn finance chaos into clarity — and build a scalable foundation without hiring a full-time team — let’s talk.
