Peter Gordon

Peter Gordon is a Partner at OGC (Outside General Counsel LLP), where they develop intellectual property strategies and manage patent portfolios for universities and small software startups in digital media and AI. Peter was a co-founder of Patent GC LLC, which merged into OGC. Prior to this, they served as Director of Intellectual Property at Avid Technology, Inc., leading a team to manage the company's IP portfolio, and held the position of Of Counsel at Fish & Richardson P.C., focusing on patent prosecution and open source compliance. Peter's earlier experience includes being a Shareholder at Wolf Greenfield, where they headed the Software Patent Practice Group. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.
