Jim Scanlon

Jim Scanlon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations, human resources, and financial management within the retail sector. Currently serving as Controller at Outside In since January 2023, Jim previously held significant roles including Sales Merchandising Manager at DICK'S Sporting Goods and Principal at Scanlon Enterprises, LLC, where efforts focused on improving access to healthy food in urban food deserts. As President and CEO of Jim's Local Market, Jim successfully established a full-service grocery store that addressed food scarcity issues in Newport News, VA. Jim's leadership roles extend to positions such as Vice President of Operations at The GIANT Company, Vice President of Human Resources and Administration at Ukrop's Super Markets, and District Manager positions at Hannaford Supermarkets.
