Benjamin Tepler

Benjamin Tepler is an experienced editorial professional with a strong background in food and lifestyle journalism. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at Outside since September 2021, Benjamin previously held the same title at Portland Monthly Magazine from May 2011 to June 2020, where additional roles included Associate Editor and Contributing Food Writer and Columnist. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Editor of Custom Publications at SagaCity Media, Inc. and an internship at Food & Wine Magazine. Benjamin's educational qualifications include a Diploma in Culinary Arts from the Oregon Culinary Institute and a BA in Art History from Oberlin College, alongside culinary training at the International Culinary Center.
