Chris Dixon

Chris Dixon is a seasoned author and writer with a diverse portfolio spanning over three decades in journalism and media. Currently contributing to various publications, Dixon has held the position of author for "The Ocean - The Ultimate Handbook of Nautical Knowledge" since 2012 and for "Ghost Wave Book" since 2011. Notable writing roles include positions at Outside Magazine and Surfer's Journal Magazine, both starting in 2010 and 2009 respectively, along with ongoing contributions to Garden & Gun Magazine and The New York Times since 2008 and 2002 respectively. Dixon's editorial experience includes serving as an editor at Surfer Magazine from 1994 to 2011. Educationally, Dixon earned a Master's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from The University of Georgia.
