Kaelyn Lynch

Kaelyn Lynch is an experienced freelance journalist currently self-employed and also serving as an Editorial Fellow at Outside Magazine since June 2018. At Outside Magazine, Kaelyn has contributed to fact-checking, writing, and editing various stories, and played a key role in developing fellow training sessions. Previously, Kaelyn held the position of Assistant Travel Editor, where responsibilities included assigning and editing articles and tracking audience engagement data. Earlier experience includes roles as an Editorial Intern at 5280 Magazine and various freelance contributions to SEVENSEAS Media and Verge Magazine. Kaelyn also has a background in video journalism with Karen News, community writing for the Community Empowerment Network, and significant involvement in environmental education and conservation initiatives. Kaelyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with minors in Biology and Anthropology, from the University of Miami.
