Maya Silver is a writer and editor specializing in food, the environment, and outdoor topics. They served as Senior Editor for DiningOut Magazine from 2013 to 2016 and have held positions such as Editorial Director at Cotopaxi and Backcountry.com. Maya is currently the Editor in Chief for Climbing at Outside and continues to work as a freelance writer, contributing to publications like Travel + Leisure and NPR. They are also the co-author of a guide for teens dealing with a parent’s cancer.
