Joana Mendonça

Joana Mendonça is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in event management, program development, and entrepreneurship. As a Global Events Senior Manager at OutSystems since December 2015, Joana has successfully led the company's global conference strategy and cross-functional teams to execute events for up to 2,500 attendees. Previously, as a Developer Relations Program Manager, Joana developed a hackathon program that became a significant sales tool for the company. Joana's role as Digital Training Program Manager involved creating a digital training strategy that greatly increased developer proficiency in OutSystems. Earlier in Joana's career, experience at Universidade Nova de Lisboa included managing the Entrepreneurship Program, where initiatives like the Startup Academy were established, and at Starters Academy, where courses were designed to foster entrepreneurship among students. Joana holds an Executive Master in Management with a specialization in Innovation Management from INDEG-ISCTE and a Master's in Business Law from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
