Mário Viegas

Mário Viegas is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as an R&D Senior Software Engineer in Frontend Runtime at OutSystems since June 2019, Mário has progressed through various engineering roles within the company. Prior to OutSystems, Mário worked at Novabase as a Software Developer, focusing on full-stack development using C# and SQL Server, as well as PHP with the CodeIgniter framework and PostgreSQL. Mário's career began at Truewind as a Junior Solutions Developer with a specialization in Java, following an educational traineeship that provided foundational IT skills. Additionally, Mário served as Chassis Team Leader at TLMoto, contributing to the design and engineering of a motorcycle for the Motostudent competition. Mário holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, earned between 2010 and 2016.
