Pedro Amaro has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Pedro started their career in 1998 as a Project Manager at Link Consulting and held this role until 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Project Manager and BPM Unit Manager at Pararede TI. Following that, they served as a BPM Manager at Glintt - Global Intelligent Technologies from 2008 to 2009. Pedro then joined Staples Portugal as a Process Improvement Manager/Black Belt from 2009 to 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Principal Consultant BPM at Link Consulting. In 2015, Pedro joined OutSystems as an Engagement Manager and later transitioned to the role of Team Lead in Customer Success Operations. In 2019, they became the PMO Process and Program Lead at OutSystems. Most recently, Pedro has been serving as the Principal Engagement Manager at OutSystems since 2021 and is currently holding the position of Principal Program Manager Engineering since 2023.
Pedro Amaro has an extensive education history in the field of Business Administration and Management. Pedro obtained a Bachelor's degree from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa in 1995, followed by a Master's degree from the same institution in 2001. Additionally, Pedro pursued further studies in Organizational Behavior Studies as a PhD Student at ISCSP-ULisboa / Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas - Universidade de Lisboa from 2012 to 2014. Alongside their education, Pedro has obtained several certifications including OutSystems Delivery Specialist, ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Certified Project Manager.
