Luc Vanacker has served as a Directeur-Staflid at OVAM since 1997, after starting their tenure there as a First Advisor from 1981 to 1997. They completed their Ph.D. in Agricultural Science at the University of Ghent, where their research focused on animal waste, and also hold degrees in Spatial Planning and Development as well as Agricultural Engineering from the same institution and the Catholic University of Louvain, respectively.
