Macdonald Chipunza

Macdonald Chipunza has had a varied work experience since 1997. Macdonald began their career as a Hwindi at Kunaka Taxes in 1997. In 1999, they moved to Best Care as a Health and Care Assistant. From 2001 to 2004, they worked for various employment agencies and Better Staff Recruitment in various roles. In 2002, they also worked as a Security Guard. Finally, from 2004 to the present, Macdonald Chipunza has been working for Ovation Data Services in various roles, including Director of IT, Head of IT, Senior Systems and Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Shift Supervisor, Senior Computer Operator, and Trainee Computer Operator.

Macdonald Chipunza has a comprehensive education history. Macdonald is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computing and Information Technology at the University of Derby, which they began in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Higher National Diploma in IT and Computing from the Online Business School in 2019-2021. Macdonald also obtained a Higher National Certificate in IT and Computing from the Online Business School in 2017-2020. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate from ILX in Prince2 Foundation Certificate. In 2016-2017, they obtained a Diploma in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the Telecoms Academy. Macdonald also obtained a Certificate in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management, a Course in Storage from EMC, an ENA from Extreme Networks, and an LIR, Database, IPv6 from RIPE NCC.
