Jane Mitchell

Jane Mitchell has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 as a Cancer Information Specialist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. In 2013, they worked as an Arts and Crafts Experiential Educator at Camp High Rocks, Inc. and as a Freelance Designer and Web Developer. From 2014 to 2015, Jane held the role of Administrator at the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council. Jane then took on the role of Senior Administrative Assistant at The New School Learning Center from 2015 to 2016, during which time they also served as a MFADT Teaching Fellow at Parsons School of Design - The New School. In 2017, Jane became the Co-Founder and CEO of Ovee, while also serving as a Partime Faculty at Parsons School of Design - The New School. In 2020, they joined GoHealth as a Customer Experience (CX) Designer and Designer.

Jane Mitchell has a long and varied educational background. Jane obtained their High School Diploma from Torrey Pines High School in 2007. Jane then went on to earn a BS in Biological Science from the University of Washington in 2011. In 2014, they obtained a Certificate in Design Media from UC San Diego. Jane then pursued their Master of Fine Arts in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design - The New School, which they completed in 2017. In September 2022, they obtained certifications in Frontend Development for Designers and UX Design from CareerFoundry.
