Peter Sturdza

Peter Sturdza has a strong background in flight sciences and engineering. Peter began their career at Bell Helicopter Textron as a Loads and Criteria Engineer from 1994 to 1996. Peter then worked at Desktop Aeronautics, Inc as a Senior Engineer from 2003 to 2011, followed by being the Vice President of Research and Development from 2011 to 2012. Peter later joined the Desktop Aeronautics Division of Aerion Corporation as a Senior Laminar Flow Design Engineer from 2012 to 2013. Peter then transitioned to Aerion Corporation, where they served as the Deputy Chief Engineer from 2013 to 2017, and then as the Director of Flight Sciences from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Aerion Supersonic as the Vice President of Flight Sciences until 2021. Currently, Peter is working as the Sr Flight Sciences Lead at Overair.

Peter Sturdza received their Bachelor of Engineering and Applied Science degree from Caltech in 1993. Peter then pursued a Master of Aeronautics and Astronautics degree from Stanford University in 1993-1994. After that, they completed their PhD in Aeronautical Engineering from Stanford University, graduating in 2003.
