Bob Gladstein

Bob Gladstein has a diverse work experience in the field of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and web management. Bob started their career in 1987 as the Managing Director of Allston Cinema at National Amusements and held this role until 1999. From 1999 to 2003, Bob worked as a Webmaster, Network Admin, and SEO at Prelude Software.

In 2003, Bob joined Raise My Rank SEO Services as a Search Engine Optimization Consultant, where they helped companies improve the visibility and usability of their websites. Additionally, they worked as a Moderator at the High Rankings Forum from 2003 to 2016, where they contributed to discussions and facilitated conversations on SEO-related topics.

Bob worked as an SEO Specialist at Monster from 2010 to 2012, focusing on organic SEO for their global network of sites. Bob played an integral role in implementing best practices such as schema code, social media integration, error management improvements, and internal linking.

In 2013, Bob worked as an SEO Manager at GSN Games, where they optimized and reported on gsn.com and worldwinner.com, two casual gaming websites. Additionally, they worked as an SEO Manager (Contract) at Catalyst Online for a short-term project involving a multinational network of financial industry sites and a publisher's website.

In 2015, Bob worked as a Technical SEO Contractor at Liberty Mutual Insurance before joining Overdrive Interactive as a Senior SEO Analyst, a role they continue to hold. Throughout their career, Bob has also worked as a Tutor at Search Engine College from 2004 to 2013, and gained expertise in keyword assignment, site navigation improvements, and the overall goal of improving return on investment.

Bob Gladstein received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Brandeis University, which they attended from 1981 to 1985. In 1987, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Film Studies from the University of Iowa. Additionally, in 1999, they completed a certificate program at Clark University, specializing in HTML, Javascript, SQL, and Application Development in Visual Basic and Powerbuilder. Apart from their academic qualifications, Bob has also obtained two additional certifications: a BrightEdge Certified Professional certification from BrightEdge in March 2017, and a Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in August 2019.
