Jeff Selig has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jeff began their career as a Sales Engineer at Lake Systems, where they focused on selling broadcast quality audio-video equipment and turnkey systems. Jeff then moved on to Video Solutions, where they continued to excel as a Sales Engineer, this time in the PC-based graphics/imaging and non-linear editing field.
In 1992, Jeff transitioned to the role of CEO at The Real Estate Guide, where they published and marketed information related to the real estate industry through both print and web platforms. Jeff successfully facilitated mergers and acquisitions and integrated them into the business.
Next, Jeff served as VP of Marketing at Prospectiv, overseeing the paid and organic search, search feeds, and online marketing channel partners. Jeff was responsible for setting objectives and strategies to exceed sales and profitability targets.
Jeff then joined Overdrive Interactive in 2009 as the Director of Media & Analytics and became a crucial member of the senior management team. Jeff analyzed marketing objectives and metrics, formulated online marketing strategies, and developed SEO, PPC, and conversion optimization technologies.
In 2011, Jeff took on the role of Director of Strategy at d50 Media, where they transformed the internal marketing department into a client-facing direct response marketing agency. Jeff managed a staff of 22 and oversaw an $18 million budget.
Jeff also advised Analysis Exchange, a non-profit organization that provides web analytics consulting to NGOs and non-profits. Jeff played a crucial role in connecting causes with experienced mentors and motivated students.
Later, Jeff joined Boston Media Domain as the Chief Marketing Officer, where they focused on digital marketing consulting, specializing in UX/UI, optimization, SEO, PPC, social media, and analytics. Jeff also consulted VC and investment clients on online marketing strategies and investment models.
In 2014, Jeff returned to Overdrive Interactive as the COO. Jeff was previously the VP and Director of Earned Media and Analytics at the company, where they utilized neuromarketing and data analysis to generate results and improve user experience.
Throughout their career, Jeff has been dedicated to exploring new technologies and pushing the boundaries in digital marketing.
Jeff Selig attended the Hartt School of Music from 1975 to 1979, focusing on music theory and composition. Jeff then went on to Ithaca College from 1979 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Music and Computers. Additionally, Jeff has obtained various certifications, including the Conductor All-Star Certification from Conductor in March 2022, the BrightEdge Advanced Certification from BrightEdge in October 2018, and the ABM Certification: Advanced from Demandbase in May 2017, among others.
