Mistral Newman

Mistral Newman is a developer at OverDrive since June 2022, with a strong background in computer science and education. Prior experience includes roles as a Computer Science Lab Helper, Tutor, Writing Center TA, and Scene Shop Assistant at Oberlin College from February 2019 to June 2022, providing support in programming languages and writing skills. Freelance experience as an ARG Designer for Alice & Smith involved puzzle design and narrative development for games. As a REU Intern at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies, Mistral contributed to natural language processing research. Earlier experience includes serving as a Tech Instructor at Lavner Camps, teaching programming to children. Mistral holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Oberlin College, completed in 2022.
