Markus Hartwig

Markus Hartwig is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cloud architecture and software engineering. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Overe.io since January 2023, Markus previously held significant roles including VP Cloud Architecture and Site Manager at OpenText from August 2019 to February 2022, and Sr. Director of Cloud Architecture at Webroot from February 2013 to August 2019. At Webroot, Markus led the development and management of the company's cloud infrastructure and UK development center, leveraging the expertise of a talented team. Earlier in their career, Markus served as Sr. Security Architect at Prevx Ltd., where responsibilities included the development of Prevx 3.0 and related products, and as a Software Engineer at RST Astrium, where contributions were made to the A380 engine and cockpit development. Markus holds a degree from Hochschule Stralsund, completed in 2002.
