Ryan Hoch

Ryan Hoch has a diverse work experience. Ryan co-founded Overgrad in 2012 and served as the CEO, overseeing the development of a platform that assists students in making informed postsecondary choices. Prior to that, they worked at Deloitte Consulting as a Business Technology Analyst, specializing in SAP Package Solutions. Ryan also worked at St. Louis Public Schools as a High School Math Teacher, where they improved student mastery levels on state standards. Ryan was selected to join Teach For America as a Corps Member, where they underwent intensive training and achieved significant gains in student achievement. Additionally, they worked as a Systems Integration Consultant at Van Voorst Lumber, where they developed an inventory system that resulted in significant cost savings for the company.

Ryan Hoch attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Engineering with a minor in Business Administration. Their field of study was General Engineering.
