Marisa Manuel

Marisa Manuel is an experienced content manager and strategist with a strong background in creative writing. Currently serving as Content Manager at Overhaul since February 2023, Marisa previously held positions at Prime Trust as Copywriter and Content Strategist, and at Generus in various content roles. Instructional experience includes teaching at Georgia State University and the Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth. Marisa's educational qualifications include a PhD in Creative Writing in progress at Georgia State University, an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Memphis, and a BA in English, Writing, and Sociology from Oglethorpe University. Additionally, Marisa contributed as Managing Editor for The Pinch Literary Journal and worked as a Senior Content Specialist at Onepath LLC.
