Overhead Intelligence
Roger O'Neill founded Overhead Intelligence in 2020 and currently serves as its Director & Founder. Prior to that, they worked at Groundtruthexploration as a Geologist from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they worked on various types of gold deposits, conducted drilling operations, and collected and logged rock chip and lab bound samples.
Roger O'Neill attended UC San Diego from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Minor in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Geology/Earth Science, General. In addition to their education, they have obtained several certifications including a RPAS Certificate - Advanced Operations from Transport Canada - Transports Canada in 2021, a Commercial Pilot (CP) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2019, and an sUAS Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2016.

Overhead Intelligence is a research and development company that designs technological advancements for industrial small unmanned aircraft systems. OI develops software and hardware for vertically integrated mapping systems capable of executing large-scale aerial mapping missions. OI focuses on solutions for resource exploration and mining companies, public utilities, medical delivery companies, government agencies, land development companies, and other entities that rely on up-to-date airborne mapping products. We specialize in the development of Lidar mapping platforms that can generate 3D models of topography, canopy, and other vertical structures. OI provides satellite-scale coverage, with high quality resolution; mapping too cheap to meter. In the process of optimizing mapping drones, OI will solve numerous industry problems.
