Caitlin’s love for creativity and writing began at a very young age when she wrote scripts and made her friends act them out. She left behind a few unfinished young adult novels for journalism school, and while the economic climate made it difficult to find her way into the newspaper world, she found a way to transition her writing skills into social media and content marketing.
As a brand and content strategist at Overit, Caitlin is responsible for leading and implementing tactical brand and content strategies for clients. She comes to Overit with agency experience and time spent in sales and business development. And as someone who grew up with Facebook, she’s amazed that this was something that she was able to turn into a career.
In 2020, Caitlin received her Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications (IMC) from the West Virginia University Reed College of Media, and she also holds a BA in Journalism, English, and Sociology from SUNY Albany. When she’s not working, you’ll find her channeling her competitive energy into adult rec league sports, adventuring with her rescue dog Mac, checking out new breweries and 518 sites, or cheering loudly for her favorite New York sports teams.
