Greg Okopal

Greg Okopal is the Chief Operating Officer at Overland AI since June 2023. With extensive experience in engineering, Greg has served as a Principal Engineer at the University of Washington since September 2009, focusing on areas such as passive radar, sensor fusion, and multi-objective optimization for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). Previous roles include Senior Engineer with expertise in underwater obstacle perception and mine target recognition, and a Visiting Researcher at NATO STO-CMRE, specializing in mine countermeasures and AUV control. Greg holds a Ph.D. and a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Villanova University.
