Ali Chehade is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in data center cooling and HVAC systems. Currently serving as the Head of R&D-Cooling at OVHcloud since June 2015, Ali leads the R&D strategy for data center cooling, overseeing the design and production of over 30 in-house solutions that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. Previous roles include Solutions-HVAC Manager, where Ali established the HVAC team and optimized deployment for multiple data centers, and Cooling Expert, focusing on advanced cooling strategies that significantly improved performance and reduced costs. Prior to OVHcloud, Ali worked at Orange as a Thermal Hydraulic Engineer and held project management positions at Mechanical Engineering & Contracting Co and engaged in collaborative research at Université de Caen Normandie. Ali holds a Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Energy and has degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Lebanese University.
