Amel Hamzaoui

Amel Hamzaoui, Ph.D., serves as the IT Director of the Data office at OVHcloud since September 2021. Previously, Amel held the position of Chief Data Officer at FONCIA STARK from January 2019 to August 2021, and worked as a Consultante Ingénieur Big Data at Saint-Gobain between October 2017 and December 2018. Earlier career experience includes roles as a data scientist and data engineer for the Fanvoice Project at Alfstore from October 2014 to October 2017, and post-doctoral studies at Qatar University from August 2013 to August 2014. Amel earned a Doctorate in machine learning from Inria Rocquencourt, where studies were conducted from September 2008 to May 2012, and holds a PhD in Computer Science from Paris-Sud University (2008-2012) along with a Master's in Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence from Pierre and Marie Curie University (2007-2008). Additionally, Amel obtained a Software Engineer degree from the High Institute of Computer Science (2001-2007).
