Greg Whitehead

Greg Whitehead is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in finance and system management within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Senior Accounting Advisor at Ovintiv since May 2020, Greg has previously held key positions at Encana Corporation, including Manager of E1 Finance, where responsibilities encompassed leading the JDE E1 Security team and managing finance module upgrades. Prior to that, roles such as Lead of Finance Divisional Support and Coordinator of JDE Finance Support demonstrated expertise in finance systems and project management. Greg’s career also includes foundational experience at Alberta Energy Company and AEC International, contributing to JDE implementations and financial analyses. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems from Brigham Young University and training at the CPA Western School of Business.
