Mike Schubert

Mike Schubert is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in production engineering and operations management. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Permian Production at Ovintiv since February 2019, Mike previously held multiple senior management and engineering roles at Encana Corporation, where responsibilities included overseeing production engineering teams across Canada and the United States, managing the facilities group for wellsites and pipelines in Alberta, and leading a multidisciplinary development team in the Kakwa area. Prior to joining Encana, Mike worked as a Production Engineer at CNRL, focusing on Heavy Oil and Deep Basin Gas, and as a Development Engineer at Petrovera Resources, specializing in Frog Lake Heavy Oil properties. Mike holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta.
