Ryan Hearn

Ryan Hearn has extensive experience in drilling engineering and operations, currently serving as the Director of Environment Health Safety COA at Ovintiv since June 2020, where leadership spans drilling engineering and road and lease construction operations for the Canadian division. Prior to this role, Ryan held multiple positions at Encana Corporation from September 2005 to June 2020, including Senior Manager of Drilling Engineering, Senior Manager of Drilling Sourcing, and Manager of Completions Engineering. Key achievements involved optimizing wellbore design, managing drilling services across North America, and ensuring best practices were implemented within various drilling teams. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, completed in 2005.
