Steve McDowell has extensive experience in the engineering and energy sectors, currently serving as Lead of Long Term Planning and Lead of Data Solutions at Ovintiv since May 2008, after holding various roles including Senior Reservoir Engineer and Senior Development Engineer. Prior to this, Steve McDowell worked as a Development Engineer and Production Engineer at Ovintiv in 2007, and as an Operations Engineer in 2006, alongside time spent as a Civil Engineering Technician at Lafarge from March 2002 to August 2004. Educationally, Steve McDowell holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Geological Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and completed Engineering Technology studies at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
