Abdullah Munawar

Abdullah Munawar is a seasoned professional in product and application security with over a decade of experience. Currently serving as the Director of Product Security at Appian Corporation since May 2019, Abdullah has held various roles including Senior Manager of Application Security and Application Security Architect. Abdullah also contributes as the OWASP Northern Virginia Chapter Lead since March 2015. Prior experience includes leadership as Director of Professional Services at nVisium and a role as Senior Information Security Analyst at Navy Federal Credit Union. Abdullah began a career in cybersecurity at SRA International as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer. Abdullah holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Information Technology from George Mason University, earned in 2007.
