Jonathan Marcil

Jonathan Marcil is an experienced Application Security Consultant currently leading efforts at Jonathan Marcil International and OWASP Montreal as Chapter Co-Leader. With a strong history of community engagement in organizations such as OWASP since 2011 and NorthSec since 2013, Jonathan has significantly contributed to event organization and challenge design in the application security domain. Previous roles include Senior Application Security Engineer at Twitch, where Jonathan supported various development teams, and Sr. Application Security Engineer at Blizzard Entertainment. Jonathan's expertise also extends to consulting positions in application security at Banque Nationale and as a Security Expert at Floe design + technologies. An accomplished entrepreneur, Jonathan has a B.Sc.A. in Software Engineering from École de technologie supérieure and a DEC in Computer Science from Cégep André-Laurendeau.
