Masataka N. is a seasoned professional in the floating offshore wind industry, currently serving as the Floating Wind Team Leader for Japan at OWC since June 2021. Masataka N. has extensive experience in project management, technical due diligence, and foundation design, complemented by advisory services in the early stages of offshore wind farm development. Prior roles at OWC include Senior Engineer and Engineer, Technical Consultant. Masataka N. gained valuable construction management experience at TODA Corporation, focusing on floating wind components, and performed integrated load assessments as a Project Engineer in foundation design. Earlier internships at Statoil involved supply chain and stakeholder management, along with environmental impact assessments for floating wind turbines in Japan. Masataka N. holds a Master’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Kyushu University.
