William Cleverly has a comprehensive work experience in the offshore wind industry, with a focus on management and engineering roles. William is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at OWC since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Group Managing Director - Renewables at ABL Group from April 2021 to October 2022. William also had a significant tenure at Offshore Wind Consultants, starting as an Associate Director in February 2013 and progressing through Director and Managing Director roles before leaving in July 2021. In 2018, they took on the role of Managing Director at OWC Taiwan Co., Limited, where they were responsible for the Asia Pacific region. Additionally, William has gained experience at GL Garrad Hassan and Ramboll UK as a Senior Engineer, Team Leader, and Geotechnical Engineer.
William Cleverly attended the University of Cambridge from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Civil, Structural, and Environmental Engineering and obtained their MEng. Following that, in 2015, they enrolled at Bayes Business School and completed an Executive MBA degree program, with no specified field of study, before graduating in 2017.
