Joel Dobben

Joel Dobben currently serves as the Associate Director of College Counseling at Sacred Heart Schools in Atherton since August 2018. Prior to this, Joel held various positions at Emory University, including Assistant Dean of Admission from August 2014 to August 2018, where responsibilities included managing prospective student relations for Northern California and the Pacific Northwest, and overseeing the Emory Student Ambassadors program. Joel's earlier roles at Emory included Admission Counselor and Admission Fellow. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literary Culture from the University of St Andrews and a Bachelor of Arts with Highest Honors in English from Emory University. High school education was completed at Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School.
