Alexandre Grimaldi

Alexandre Grimaldi, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist at Owkin since June 2022, specializing in AI-powered multi-omics approaches for oncology, focusing on target discovery, biomarker identification, and drug positioning. Prior to this role, Alexandre served as a Research Scientist at Institut Pasteur from December 2016 to June 2022, progressing from postdoctoral researcher to PhD student, conducting research on computational methods for analyzing scRNAseq datasets and studying myogenic progenitors in craniofacial muscle development. Alexandre's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Engineer at Institut Cochin, a Research Assistant, and a Research Intern at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, and a Research Intern at Università degli Studi di Firenze. Alexandre holds a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Sorbonne Université and two degrees in the same field from Université de Bordeaux.
