Simon Grouard

Simon Grouard is a Research Scientist at Owkin since September 2022, focusing on bladder cancer, specifically identifying new subgroups and targets for MIBC patients through the company's discovery engine. Previously, Simon served as a Research Scientist intern at AstraZeneca, where the master thesis involved proteomics pan-cancer prediction of cell-line drug sensitivity utilizing methods such as Random Forest and deep-SHAP. Additional experience includes a Data Scientist internship at Sparkmate, where contributions were made to medical prediction algorithms using computer vision. Simon's earlier roles involved developing machine learning predictive algorithms for wind farm monitoring at CRC MINES ParisTech and enhancing automation in street cleaning machines at Veolia. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Health Data Analytics and Machine Learning from Imperial College London and an Engineering Master's Degree from Centrale Nantes.
