Brian Henspeter

Brian Henspeter is a Finance Manager at Owl Ventures, having joined the company in September 2023. Prior to this role, Brian served as a Senior Fund Accountant and Fund Accountant at Versant Ventures from April 2021 to September 2023. Brian's earlier experience includes working as an Audit Senior at Deloitte from September 2018 to March 2021 and as an Assistant Accountant at David Weise and Associates from September 2016 to August 2018. Brian’s expertise includes budget analysis, accounting cycle summaries, profit and loss allocations for foreign tax returns, and the creation of collaborative Excel templates. Brian is a CPA candidate and has successfully passed all four exams, including the ethics exam as of May 2019. Academically, Brian holds an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting from Foothill College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Business from California State University, Northridge.
