Ownisha Co-operative Group

We are owned by our customers, and we provide African families and businesses with access to a comprehensive range of cooperative financial services and products to meet their everyday financial needs.

What makes us special is that we distribute our annual profits to our owner-customers, whom we refer to as members, in the form of an annual patronage dividend.

Our group consists of member cooperatives, their central organisation, the Ownisha Federation, and their subsidiaries and affiliated entities. The two operating member cooperatives are Government Employees Financial Group and Ownisha For You Financial Group.

Ownisha Corporation Group

We enable African customer owned banking to thrive. We provide administration and client relations services to the Ownisha Cooperative Group. These services are aimed at assisting the customer owned financial services group to improve its operations and achieve its desired business outcomes.

We have our corporate headquarters in Cape Town, South Africa, South Africa, and are domiciled in the state of Delaware, United States of America.
