At OwnSpace Developments, we use BRR (Buy, Refurbish, Refinance) and Flips not just as profit strategies, but as solutions to key challenges in today’s housing market:

1. Tackling the Shortage of Quality Homes
> Many UK properties are tired, outdated, or unfit for modern living.
> Through BRR and Flips we take run-down houses, refurbish them to high standards.

2. Property Care Consultancy
> We work with social care providers and investors provide safe & compliant services from property suitability to operational systems using our extensive experience
> We help providers navigate the regulatory space & grow their business

3. Improving Affordability & Accessibility
> Flips allow us to turn properties around quickly and put them back on the market at fair prices, giving buyers more choice.
> With BRR, refurbished homes often go into the rental market, increasing the availability of quality homes for tenants in areas where demand outstrips supply.

4. Speeding Up Housing Solutions
> Our use of creative purchase options and efficient refurb programmes means we can deliver projects faster than traditional developers.
> This helps reduce delays in getting homes back into circulation and ensures investors see their ROI sooner.

5. Adding Social & Community Value
> We don’t just “do up” houses — we create modern, energy-efficient homes that lower running costs for occupiers.
> Our projects revitalise neglected streets, improving kerb appeal and strengthening local communities.

👉 In short:
Flips solve the problem of unloved housing and limited buyer choice.
BRR solves the problem of poor-quality rentals and limited supply.
There is a real need to help those who want to provide social care services through expertly designed properties that meet regulatory needs.
